In 2006, Wyoming Waterjet was formed and a Precision Linear Motor Waterjet cutting system was one of the new additions we made to our facility. Waterjet technology allows for a versatile, economical, environmentally safe cutting system. Our Waterjet system has an ability to cut almost any material to an accuracy of .001” and a repeatability of .0005”. Our Waterjet is dual-headed, increasing productivity. It has linear motors that offer consistent accuracy and perfect cutting velocity for better cuts at higher speeds. This Waterjet is equipped with a Heidenhain 530 Control along with the MasterCam X Waterjet software for maximum material usage and capable of importing any scanned image.
Some forms of material that can be cut include any simple or complex shapes from steel, stainless, titanium, chrome alloy, glass, granite, marble, laminates, plastics, composites, paper, fabric, wood or virtually anything without the thermal or mechanical distortions associated with mechanical saws.
Custom built for Wyoming Waterjet in May 2006, this state-of-the-art waterjet is the newest in waterjet technology.
Scott’s Welding & Fabrication, Inc. was established in 1984 to provide welding and fabrication services to the oilfield industry. As we grew, we wanted to become more diversified in the services that we were offering. In 2005, we built a new facility that enabled us to purchase some state-of-the-art machinery.
