A thousand-plus people greeted the truck (top center) carrying the Capitol Christmas Tree Saturday as it arrived at Riverton Regional Airport. This is the first time Wyoming has ever supplied the tree that will adorn the U.S. Captiol.

The two fires that combined to burn 30 acres south of the Wind River in October most likely were intentionally set, according to Riverton Volunteer Fire Department chief Matt Lee.
